Yay, it is that time of year again – summer!

That means time to bare our skin to the sun girls.  I just love those long, lazy days of summer when I chill with my friends.  Really special memories come from those days.

If you are going to be wearing cute tops and dresses then remember to look really good add a cute tattoo on your shoulder or back do that you don’t look like all the girls out there sunning themselves.

You want to stand out from the crowd, right?  Well, I can tell you now that nothing helps you achieve a unique appearance than a tattoo.  BUT, and this is a BIG BUT girls, you must get a good tattoo, something that looks cute and stylish and suits you and your character and personality.  No point in getting a massive, guys tat unless that is YOU?

In fact, so much so, I’m considering baring my body to the sun-goddess!

Formulating a personal tattoo idea…

The main message I have today is to tell you a cool option which I’ve found for getting new tats.  I recommend this hands-down.  They guys are called Create My Tattoo and that is what these guys do – create your own personal tattoo design for you.

I often have highly creative ideas for a new personal tattoo but never follow them through because I cannot draw the idea and put it into a good tat design.  The whole thing kinda stalls for me so I don’t get anywhere …

I came across these guys when my friend, Karl, had his new personal tattoo done 3 weeks ago.  It’s awesome, he contacted Create My Tattoo with his ideas and they came up with a choice of 10, yes! 10 designs for him to choose from!   He only paid for that design and that was it.   He then went off to our cool tattoo artist who inked Karl up and the result is a new tattoo which means so much more to Karl than just any random design.

I’m trying to convince Karl to let me have a pic for this blog but because it’s personal he’s stalling. Will need to work on him a bit more!

Just a quickie girls and guys.

Woo, hoo!  I reckon I’m going to get another new tattoo!

Why?

I’m feeling slightly p**** off with the s*** weather, studying is hard work and all.

I know what cheers me up big time…  searching for a new tattoo design will be an enjoyable experience and will keep me busy and entertained for ages.   (Shallow or what? nah!)

It’s always a fun time searching for a new tattoo design.  This might take me months, I’m pretty busy right now.  Hey, I might not even get round to having the new tattoo in the end!

Well, its now 2011 – the time of year when many of us make New Years resolutions!

Maybe you like angels and think now is the right time to get a couple of angels tattoos but you’re not sure where to start?

Christmas

It’s that time of year again – the magical Christmas season, when the Archangel Gabriel, with spectacular angels wings, descended to earth to proclaim the arrival of the Messiah!

Yes, it must have been a spectacular site for the humble shepherds!  Imagine, those wonderful celestial creatures with outstretched angels wings must have struck terror into the hearts of those simple shepherds.  How would I react? I’d also be petrified probably!

Children love to be angels with angels wings or shepherds in Nativity plays

For children, Christmas is the time when they hear the wonderful story of Jesus being born.   It’s also the chance for them to be in a Nativity play.  Little girls want to be Mary and boys want to be Joseph.  Then there are the angels.  These are normally girls, wearing white sheets, with angel wings made out of wire and tinsel.  Oh, and don’t forget the wonky halos finishing off the costume! This all creates a gathering of angels no proud parent will ever forget!

And what about the shepherds?

Boys are normally the shepherds, wearing dressing gowns or kaftans with dish cloths on their heads.

At one play I went to, a few shepherds got into a scrap on stage!

At another play one of the shepherds fell off the stage and into the orchestra pit! (Fortunately, he didnt hurt himself – he was just very, very embarrassed!)  I bet he wished he had a pair of angel wings to whisk him away from all the laughter!

Dressing up as angels is not restricted to children.

Adults also like to dress up as angels at Christmas parties.

I’ve seen some very glamorous angels at parties, complete with huge wings and glistening halos!  Some of these angels even had tattoos of angels to complete their theme for their party…

It’s not necessary to have a huge angel wing tattoos, dainty tattoos of angels wings like Nicole Richie’s are really cute!
